Ambassador Program Terms
Summary of how the program works. These terms may be updated; the current version always governs.
1. Eligibility & enrollment
You must be at least 18 years old and provide a valid name, email, and phone number to enroll. Enrollment is free. Upon signing up you’ll receive a unique ambassador code; your code and account are personal to you and may not be sold or transferred.
2. How referrals are tracked
Each ambassador is assigned a unique code and personal link (e.g. actiontentevent.com/your-code). An order is credited to you when the customer places it using your code or link. Where multiple ambassadors could apply, the most recent referral applies, and an order already attributed to another ambassador will not be reassigned.
3. Commission
You earn a commission of up to 5% of the order’s item subtotal. The item subtotal excludes tax, delivery, and setup charges. Commission is earned on completed orders that have been paid in full and not cancelled or refunded; cancelled, refunded, or charged-back orders do not earn (or reverse any previously credited) commission.
4. Payment
You choose how to receive your earnings: paid out monthly by bank transfer, or applied as a credit to one of your own orders. Bank-transfer payouts require valid bank details on file. We may set a minimum payout threshold and a regular payout schedule, communicated when you join.
5. Taxes & reporting
Ambassadors are independent and responsible for their own taxes. A completed Form W-9 is required before any payout can be issued. If your total payouts reach $600 or more in a calendar year, we are required to report those earnings to the IRS and will issue you a Form 1099-NEC.
6. Acceptable use
Don’t use your code for your own orders to bypass our pricing, spam, misrepresent Action Events, bid on our brand terms in paid search, or otherwise engage in fraudulent or misleading promotion. We may withhold commission on, or reverse, any order obtained in violation of these terms.
7. Changes & termination
We may update the commission rate, payout terms, or these Program Terms at any time, with the current version governing going forward. Either you or Action Events may end your participation at any time; commission validly earned before termination will still be paid, subject to the W-9 and tax requirements above.
